Directions:

Heat a gas grill on high or heat coals in a charcoal grill until they glow bright orange and ash over.

Make 8 burger patties and generously apply sea salt, pepper and garlic to both sides.  Drizzle one side of the patty with some liquid aminos. If using a gas grill turn heat down to medium.  Place burgers on the grill and close the lid. Cook burger for 5 minutes, flip.  Lay cheese slices on cooked side of burger and close the lid again.  Cook for 3 more minutes.  Remove and place on a plate or tray.

To construct burgers.  Lay a leaf of lettuce down on a plate.  Apply mayo, a tomato slice (or avocado slices), burger and then more mayo, mustard, pickles and onion.  Fold top of lettuce over burger and enjoy!
